Steel:

1:cladding, structure, joiners

2. Steel is an alloy of iron, with carbon, which may contribute up to 2.1% of its weight.

3. New Zealand Steel

4. Steel construction has so many advantages: the strength to weight ratio is excellent, metals join easily, efficient shapes are available, etc.
Steel is one of the world's most-recycled materials, with a recycling rate of over 60% globally;[50] in the United States alone, over 82,000,000 metric tons (81,000,000 long tons) was recycled in the year 2008, for an overall recyclying rate of 83%.[51]

5.Additionally, some metals are coated in oil, which may cause a toxic odor while working with it. The biggest disadvantage of working with steel is that it is an excellent conductor of heat, so in colder areas, the heat can be absorbed into the structure and quickly lost. Mold also has a tendency of growing around steel studs in the winter. To combat the energy issue, home owners can use a double wall system or high efficiency insulation to prevent heat transfer.

As a metal, Aluminium has a quite a few distinguishing properties that make it the ideal material for a wide range of applications. Especially in the building and construction industry, it is turning out to be the most preferred metal. Designers and architects are increasingly experimenting with the metal for designing unique and innovative structures which are sturdier, lightweight, low on maintenance and more durable than iron and steel and most other construction material.
